" I'm drawn to sequencing that flows and music with a good beat. I believe in movement that is both therapeutic and cathartic; for mind and body. I believe that when we move often and well, the tone and shape of our bodies takes care of itself; that movement has the power to both change and nurture our bodies. And that it is the means to doing more of what you love. "
I work with those who are seeking real, and lasting change; movers wanting more out of what they do and women seeking to reconnect to their bodies, get strong, and achieve their very best body after baby. I believe that finding the right teacher for you is invaluable.

I love a good beat and the rhythm that the breath creates. I'm influenced most by my yoga practice, life as a ballet dancer, and my own perinatal experience. My approach is rooted in classical Pilates, embracing innovation, modern kinesiology, creativity and therapeutic methods. Sweat is encouraged.

I completed my mat Pilates certification through the Physicalmind Institute in January 2005 after training for a professional ballet career. I spent the following year immersed in a 200 hour Ashtanga-Vinyasa Yoga teacher training & 3 month internship through It's Yoga, and then my comprehensive Pilates Certification also through The Physicalmind Institute. I taught as an apprentice while attending the University of Utah for Health Promotion and Education, completing my final Pilates exam in 2007. I have taught in studios in Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, Virginia, and San Diego alongside and being mentored by many talented teachers. In 2015, I completed my PMA CPT exam. Since having my two children, I've completed in-depth postpartum and pelvic floor education from leaders in the field including Brent Anderson and Sarah Duvall & am trained as a Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist.

You can find me on the beach with my two babies, trying a new restaurant with friends, or obsessing over the latest Netflix binge with my husband. My favorite places to be are a packed, sweaty yoga studio, listening to live music, or unplugged with my people.

In 2017, I crafted The Teachers Collective, a collaborative, community building experience for Pilates professionals, alongside friend and partner, Jaquelyn Brennan. We held three events in our first year in Los Angeles, Chicago, and San Diego. In 2018 we launched our website and online community here. Last year I also launched my online content for teachers, home students, & postpartum women.
